About Denise:

Denise has 10 years of experience in the employee benefit arena. She began her career as administrative assistant & Office Manager to our previous Program Manager, Tom Neff. She was granted her insurance license in 2006.

Born in Oregon , Denise has lived in Northern California for 45 years. She was a midwife for 27 years and delivered more than 730 babies, including, helping birth all 8 of her grandbabies. She has traveled as far as China to do deliveries. She is a Certified Childbirth Educator & Doula and has also certified as an EMT and been Director of Training certifying all new Childbirth Instructors in Sonoma Co. and the California State Coordinator for I.C.E.A. (International Childbirth Education Association) for 2 years.

She was also President of the Redwood Empire Counsel and on the Board of the California Counsel handling insurance needs of Co-op Nursery Schools in Sonoma Co. for an additional 3 years of insurance experience. She desired a slower pace after being "on call" for all those years. Group health insurance was a natural direction to serve others, without the midnight deliveries.

Denise lives in the home she & her husband built themselves in 2005 in Mt. Aukum , Ca. just north of the vineyards & wineries of the Shenandoah Valley . They have 13 acres, with a pond & waterfall. It's a Brady Bunch family- 3 boys & 3 girls- all grown, but mostly living on the East Coast. They built the house big enough for everyone to come home with all their grandkids!

She is an avid movie buff, loves to Doula, to landscape, garden and is active in her Church. She will be traveling more now that the kids are across the country.
